Actual Writing: Grammar
Writing a good book takes some time and skill. Writing a great book takes a lot of time and a ton of skill. This wall of text is supposed to help you make your books and novels bigger, better, faster, and harder. So what's the fist thing I want to tell you about? The English language! *Confetti*. But, yes. The English language, a language everyone knows but usually only slightly. So let's get into learning a little.
Punctuation: You see those marks on top of the number keys and a third of your keyboard? Contrary to popular belief those are not optional. They are used to make your stories understandable, organized, and professional. The next
I'm sure we've all seen these words posted about DA or Fanfiction.net "Constructive Criticism only please."
While it's not bad to want your work analyzed from top to bottom to see problems and flaws that you can improve upon, a lot of people have blurred understanding of what "Constructive Criticism" means. I'm here to tell you what I think it means.
Constructive criticism is criticism that would help in the growth or "construction" to the skills of the person who has made a piece of art or literature.

Well, it's time for another rant. As you can see from the title, this is about why you've joined this site. Was it to get your art noticed? Was it to sell your art to make a little extra money? Was it your pure passion for your craft? Or was it to simply become famous? While wanting to become a famous artist isn't a bad dream to have, if you're getting into art or writing or anything to become famous and not for the fun of it. Then that's a big problem. Whenever you get into something always expect nothing, otherwise you realize you get hopes crushed very fast. And that could be a very bad experience, so bad that you would possibly consider j
So this will be a rant based upon the blurred line between what OC would mean.
This is what OC means to me, an OC is a character made by a person to call his own. This character would have everything about him/her thought out before even thinking about what they're going to look like. When making an OC, personality is everything, and if you don't have a good personality and a good character with strengths and weaknesses. Then I'm afraid you don't have an OC.
